  • Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award

If you fancy a challenge, you can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. You will volunteer, develop a skill and complete a five-day expedition. It’s a great way to increase your resilience, independence and teamwork skills. Not only that, but it’s recognised by universities and employers, so it'll look great on your CV.

Throughout the year you’ll get the chance to go on trips abroad, theatre visits and university lectures. We also invite expert speakers to come in and talk to you. These experiences support the learning you do in college.

We’re surrounded by excellent sporting facilities. Just across the road there is a swimming pool, gym and dance studio where students get free membership year-round.

We also have a sports hall and MUGA that can be used by students. They're also where many of our enrichment sports clubs take place.
