According to the Department for Education’s (DfE) latest measures on destinations, we perform better than any other sixth form college in Manchester. We also score ‘well above average’ on the DfE’s measure for progression after level 3 study.

The last time the DfE published measures on progress, we were Manchester’s highest performing sixth form college.

Our 2024 A Level and BTEC results:

• 84% of students successfully applied to study at university 
• 95% pass rate
• 61% achieved all grades at A*-C, or equivalent
• 86% of triple BTEC students achieved high grades (several were awarded places at prestigious Russell Group Universities)
• 29% achieved high grades A*-B, or equivalent in all of their qualifications
• 34% achieved at least one A* or equivalent
